ERP, CRM and Office 365 productivity apps are often considered separately. In many cases, this is the problem with the introduction of such systems and applications.
The ERP system is reprogrammed or even “misused” for supporting processes. For example, contact management in the ERP system must then also serve as a rigid CRM for sales. This results in high investment and follow-up costs for the companies.
Current Microsoft products are available to companies as ERP and CRM, which can be booked out-of-the-box as a cloud service. Dynamics 365 as a product concept aims precisely at linking the services in the best possible way in order to be able to map the business processes as efficiently as possible.
Dynamics 365 for Sales (CRM) and Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) can be linked in such a way that Sales processes the contacts in CRM and Accounting expands the contacts as debtors and thus has access to them for all processes relevant to accounting. Both apps can also be used with Office 365 productivity apps such as Power BI, Flow and Power Apps. These services, which are low-code products that can be used by employees with little or no programming knowledge, provide users with immediate support in their daily work.
Complex interfaces between the systems, duplicate data and high programming costs are now a thing of the past.
